Located in the port of Chittagong, the southern port of Bangladesh, it covers an area of 318 hectares. It is a special new economic industrial park specially set up by the Bangladesh government for Chinese enterprises. It aims to provide a familiar and convenient investment environment and cooperation platform for China's production capacity to land in Bangladesh. It is a key project of cooperation between the governments of China and Bangladesh under the “Belt and Road Initiative” initiative, which is led by China Harbour for investment and development.
